AI connection terms of use

What the connection does

The connection lets you search and read your personal recipe book in a supported assistant. With your separate permission it can also save new recipes and edit existing recipes. It cannot delete recipes or access your shopping list, folders or favourites. Use requires a Ricotta account and Sign in with Apple. Your phone does not need to be running.

Your permission

You decide which assistant may access your recipe book. You can revoke that permission at any time at connect.getricotta.app. Creating recipes and editing recipes each require a separate permission. Removing the connection does not delete saved recipes.

Fair use

Only save content you are entitled to use. Do not try to access another person's account, bypass permission checks or interfere with the service. Check recipe content, ingredient quantities and assistant suggestions before using them. An assistant may make mistakes; a conversation alone does not confirm that a recipe was saved.

Cost and availability

The connection is free. The assistant provider's own account, availability, plan and terms apply separately. Service capabilities may change and outages can occur. Account deletion and data handling are described in the help and privacy pages.
